In Windows search, type Device Manager and open it. Look for HID compliant and expand it. Check for the HID-compliant touch screen and right click it, then choose uninstall. Restart the laptop and the HID touch screen driver will reinstall automatically. Check the touch screen afterwards.

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ITL05 Idling Hot and Hot After Closing Lid?
This is not normal. Lenovo did a poor job with this laptop. The hot air is exhausted straight up, out of the hinge gap where the screen and laptop body meet *facepalm*. Don't close the lid with the laptop still powered on, make sure you Shut Down before closing the lid. You will need to get a laptop cooling pad with fans.

So, I've gotten myself a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 with Windows 11. And it worked fine until I installed the System Updates Windows and Lenovo Vantage were asking me to do. Now when I fold the screen into tent or tablet mode it doesn't rotate. Neither so that you can use it in tent mode nor into portrait mode when held sideways.
